This ministry will involve being a greeter at one of the eight weekend masses as well as being involved in providing hospitality at a variety of church related functions/receptions (ALPHA sessions, coffee “and” after some of the weekend masses).
Training for this ministry will include Virtus education by a specific trainer (if NOT already done) as well as Hospitality instruction (about an hour).
We will review the plans during the education session(s). We are looking at Hospitality ministers being scheduled two masses a month. Once we get the Greeter function underway – we will then start to explore other events (ALPHA support, coffee “and”, specific receptions).
We want to make this ministry structured in all the churches of the Saint Paul VI parish similar to the way we structure lectors, Ministers of the Holy Eucharist and altar servers.

Ministerio de Hospitalidad
Cualquier feligres interesado en unirse o aprender acerca de un nuevo ministerio con un enfoque en la hospitalidad por favor pongase en contacto con Chuck o Sue Aprea (203-506-3076 4apreas@sbcglobal.net, 203-506-3093, saprea58@sbcglobal.net). Aquellos que ya han expresado su interes en unirse no necesitan preguntar de nuevo.
Este ministerio implicara ser un saludador en una de las ocho misas de fin de semana, así como participar en la prestacion de la hospitalidad en una variedad de funciones relacionadas con la iglesia / recepciones (sesiones de ALPHA, cafe “y” despues de algunas de las misas de fin de semana).
La formacion para este ministerio incluira educacion Virtus por un formador específico (si NO se ha hecho ya) así como instruccion en Hospitalidad (alrededor de una hora).
Revisaremos los planes durante la(s) sesion(es) educativa(s). Estamos pensando en programar dos misas al mes para los ministros de Hospitalidad. Una vez que tengamos la funcion de saludador en marcha – entonces empezaremos a explorar otros eventos (apoyo ALPHA, cafe “y”, recepciones específicas).
Queremos estructurar este ministerio en todas las iglesias de la parroquia de San Pablo VI de manera similar a como estructuramos los lectores, Ministros de la Sagrada Eucaristía y monaguillos.
