What is Alpha?
Alpha is a series of sessions exploring life and the Christian faith. The talks are designed to engage and inspire conversation, and foster personal growth and fellowship, as you unpack the basics of Christianity, explore issues related to faith, and address questions such as: “Who Is Jesus?” and “How Can We Have Faith?” and “Does God Heal?”
Why should you consider trying Alpha?
Alpha is an opportunity to increase our personal relationship with God, and with each other as members of the Body of Christ. Alpha provides ways to engage with those right in your church as well as those in surrounding communities. You have the opportunity to engage and share your thoughts and ask any question you would like. But know that participation is not required, you may sit, absorb, and pray silently.
How does Alpha work?
Alpha has a series of short films that are based on one topic each week. After the film, the members of Alpha break into small groups (the same group each week) to discuss a series of questions based on the film and beyond.
