Welcome to the 2024-2025 year of Faith Formation! We are so excited to meet you and grow in our faith together! We all want our children to know and love Jesus, which is why we are offering new and dynamic programs this year to do just that.
Family Program
We will be offering a Family Program for families with students in Grade 5 and below. We will be gathering once a month for fun and engaging sessions, participate in family meetings at home the next few weeks, and then come back together at the end of the month for a Family Mass and social. Youth Ministry Small Group Program
We will be offering a Small Group Program for families with children in Grades 6-10. Youth will meet in small groups to have meaningful discussions about our faith in a setting that builds friendships, trust, community, and a sense of belonging. Sacramental Preparation
Reconciliation/Communion: Children preparing for first Reconciliation & Communion will attend 2 monthly classes on Sunday mornings, from 9:45-10:45am at the OLMC Parish Center. There will be engaging classes, family workshops, and rehearsals throughout the year. The sacraments will be received in 2025. Check the calendar for the specific dates.
Confirmation: Youth preparing for the sacrament of Confirmation will participate in our Youth Ministry Small Group program and will receive the Sacrament of Confirmation in the fall of 10th grade (Fall 2025).
Registration
In-Person Registration for classes with students and families Grades PreK through Grade 9 will be held in the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish Center, 54 South New Road.
Please come by in person on any of the following days to register your child/children. Registration forms can be downloaded here in English and in Spanish. Please bring along a check, cash or credit card for the class registration fee.
