A very special Thank You to all the St. Paul VI women who opened their hearts and so generously supported the Columbiette’s Baby Shower for “In Our Blessed Mother’s Arms,” a Pregnancy Resource Center located across the street from Planned Parenthood in New Haven.
Hundreds of new and gently used baby items along with monetary gifts were given to Ivana Solsbery, the Director, who shared many insights about this most important ministry and its work to assist women who need support during pregnancy, and also regarding housing, food, and education. Sometimes the support continues well beyond the pregnancy, and those supported become the supporters for others. In addition, there is a missionary aspect where those supported come to know Christ, Our Blessed Mother and the church.
